Briefly – GRANFODNO is for cyclists what MARATHON is for runners and IRONMAN for triathletes. The competitors in the leading group will fight to win, those in the middle aim for the personal best, and those at the back attempt to complete such a challenging race (sometimes trying to avoid the cut off time). Aside from competing with other cyclists, Granfondo is primarily a battle against oneself the biggest award of which is the completion of the cca. 100-kilometre-long race.

Gran Fondo Pag – Cycling on the Moon on the Croatian island of Pag offered an out of this world experience racing through lunar landscapes reminiscent of France’s Mont Ventoux.
